We are here to stay, creating a community for anyone wanting to learn more about Judaism, hang out or just shmooze.
We are here to provide Jews living in Pacific Beach with a warm loving Jewish environment. Chabad of PB is a place where knowledge is planted and wisdom is grown. Our goal is to help develop a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Jew.
We provide; Shabbat services and meals; classes; "Minyan and Munchin" (Sunday morning Minyan); holiday programs for children and adults; one on one learning, and many other exciting programs.

MEET THE RABBI
Rabbi Yossi Tiefenbrun was born in London, England where he went to school until the age of 17. He then went to Israel to study at the Chabad Yeshiva of Migdal Ha'emak. Rabbi Yossi then went to New York where he studied at Oholei Torah Yeshiva in Brooklyn for 1 year. He then went as a Shaliach (emmisary) of the Rebbe to help build the community in Leeds, England for a year.
He graduated and received Rabbinic Ordination from Rabbinical College of America in Los Angeles in 2006 with a BA in Talmudic studies. In 2006 he married Rochie Leider, a native San Diegan and together they are building San Diego's newest Jewish Community in Pacific Beach.
Rochie is the daughter of Rabbi Moishe and Sura Leider who have been Shluchim (Chabad emmisaries) in San Diego for 30 years. Rochie attended Chabad Hebrew Academy in San Diego for her elementary school years, and high school she attended Bais Chana High School in Los Angeles. She spent a year studying in Seminary in Israel and then worked as a shlucha in Costa Rica and San Diego.
